To become a Petroleum Engineer, you will  have to do the B.Tech. Petroleum Engineering course which is a four-year Undergraduate course. Most colleges take in admissions to their B.Tech. programs through JEE-Mains scores. However, some institutions conduct their own separate entrance examinations. So, the answer to your question is that it depends from institute-to-institute whether or not they offer this course and which entrance examination they accept.
