Seat is allocated based on the availability depending on your cut off, session rank, community.

Other way is through management quota.

PSG College of Technology intakes students based on various modes:

JEE Main(Joint Entrance Examination Mains)
TNEA(Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission)
TANCET(Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test)
GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)

JEE Main, TNEA provides admission to Undergraduate Level engineering courses. While, GATE, TANCET is for admissions in M.Tech. and M.E. courses. There is no separate exam conducted by PSG College.
