Hello candidate,

If a candidate has done his degree in the field of psychology then it's an opportunity for him to take up the same subject as his is extra subject while appearing for the UPSC IAS examination.

So, definitely it will be a boost for him as compared to his counterparts because he has already the knowledge about the subject and it will require a bit less effort than those who are starting it from scratch. Overall, be consistent with your practice and hard work and determination is the key to success for each exam.

Hope you found it helpful!!
