Hey Abhishek,

There will be certain cut off marks for the JEE main exam for each category and it will vary each and every year once the exams got over. So, if you clear the particular cut off for your category, then you will be eligible for the JEE Advance exam. And if you score well in Advance then surely you can get into top reputed IIT's. Since you haven't mentioned the category in which you belong, I will post a link. It is an expected cut off range for this year. Check it out :

There are cut offs ,a minimum percentile which must be achieved by students in mains ,to take part in jee advance,for general it is around 89 percentile,for sc/st around 33 percentile, for obc around 73 percentile, and for ews around 79 percentile and for physically disabled ones around 1 percentile,.You must have rank within 1.3 lakh to participate in jee advance
