Rinderpest and Anthrax are examples of animal diseases.

Rinderpest, also known as cattle plague, was a disease caused by the rinderpest virus which primarily infected cattle and buffalo. Infected animals suffered from symptoms such as fever, wounds in the mouth, diarrhea, discharge from the nose and eyes, and eventually death.

Anthrax is an infection by bacteria, usually transmitted from animals. Anthrax results in skin, lung, and bowel disease and can be deadly. Anthrax is diagnosed using bacterial cultures from infected tissues. There are four types of anthrax: cutaneous, inhalation, gastrointestinal, and injection.
