Solution : $A × 0.5 = B × 0.6 = C × 0.75$ ⇒ $\frac{A×5}{10}=\frac{B×6}{10}=\frac{C×75}{100}$ ⇒ $\frac{A}{2}=\frac{B×3}{5}=\frac{C×3}{4}$ So, A : B : C = 2 : $\frac{5}{3}$ : $\frac{4}{3}$ = 6 : 5 : 4 ∴ C’s share =$\frac{4}{15}$ × 1740 $=$ Rs. 464 Hence, the correct answer is Rs. 464.
