The Category Certification is very important specially for the Competitive examinations and Seat Allotment among numerous candidates in multiple rounds. Since, there is a special reservation Criteria for different categories such as General-EWS, OBC, SC, ST hence Category Certification is important.

Inorder to change your category to EWS (Economically Weaker Sections), you should fall under some Criteria- like No Government Job, Specific amount of land and property belongings, etc. If you have all Criterias satisfied, then consult with your District Magistrate Office and get it done.
