The career as a Durg Inspector is considered as the most sorted profession in the field of Pharmacy. To become a drug inspector, candidates are required to go through a selection process conducted by the UPSC and/ or SPSCs.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates are usually required to hold a degree in Pharmacy or Medicine or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Degrees with specialisation in Microbiology or Clinical Pharmacology are usually preferred.
• Minimum Age Required: 21 years
• Maximum Age Required: 30 years and a relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates at some organisations.

Yes, the student who have science and math can apply for the drug inspector exam in Rajasthan. Basic eligibility criteria for becoming the drug inspector in Rajasthan are as follows;

• Age limit – 21 years- 45 years
  Educational Qualification:
  Candidates must have a degree in Pharmacy/ Pharmaceutical Sciences / Medi cine with Specialization in Clinical Pharmacology/ Microbiology from a recognized University established in India by Law as rule 49 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules 1945.

If you want to be a Drug Inspector then you must be have done graduation in pharmacy or pharmaceutical science or clinical pharmacology or microbiology or medicine or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. The subjects required physics, biology/microbiology, chemistry/biotechnology in the 10+2 level.

So if you satisfy this criteria then you can apply for Drug Inspector. If you have Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics as subjects in your 10+2, then also you are eligible.
