Yes, if you declare yourself as a General candidate then you will get the admission with the general category criteriation. For a general category student, you do not need any proof, by default you could be assumed as a general student.

While if you chose to fill in the OBC, then you have to upload the certificate for the same and also need to produce that certificate during various stages of admission.
