Hey Aspirant, Yes admission in NIT totally depends on your eligibility criteria and rank secured by you in your Jee Mains.

Your category may also help you a bit if there is any but in order to get admission in any good NIT, you must study hard and get a good score in Jee mains.

Hello dear, 

If you want to take admission in NIT to do under graduate courses then you have to go through purely jee mains. You can apply it in JOSAA COUNSELLING if you qualify in jee mains. Yes it depends upon your jee mains score also you have to bring minimum of 75 percent marks in higher secondary school examination conducted by respective boards in general category and 50 percent marks in individual subjects,  then you are eligible for it.
