I'll suggest that you fill the form for JAC counseling as you might get lucky.
In 2018 , the last rank that got admitted in DTU (General  , Delhi) was around 49 thousand.
Considering that the seats are increasing in DTU and NSIT is now NSUT(University) so seats will also increase there , there Is a slight possibility that you might get into lower branches of DTU/NSUT.
Getting into lower branches of DTU/NSUT is an advantage over the good branch in some private college as you'll get a lot of exposure in these esteemed Universities.
