It totally depend son yoyur interets, if you wish to join civil services such as IAS, IPs,IFS, IRS etc or you want to join any government post in railways or banks etc then you must write government exams. But CAT exam is totally different from governement exams as this exam helps you to take admissionin IIMs or top colleges which offer MBA. If you have good interest in joining corporates and in business then you must go for CAT exam.
