You cannot do diploma and 11th at the same time.After competing 10th you will have the option of either going for any diploma course or simply go for class 11th and 12th with the board of your choice.If you wil do diploma and then you will have option of Lateral entry into an engineering college directly in 2nd year after completing diploma or you can do class 11th and 12th and you can appear in various engineering entrance exams and can get admission in engineering colleges.

If you think you can score good rank in various engineering entrance exam or medical entrance exam, then I suggest you to go for 11th and 12th after 10th.

After which you can join 4 year B.E or B.Tech course which hold more value than 3 year B.E or B.Tech course.
Or if you want do job as soon as possible then I will suggest you to go for a diploma after which you can join 3 year B.E or B.Tech lateral entry.
