You should always prefer a branch in which you have interest and passion. If you are getting a top college you should prefer it instead of going in average college. Always choose a college in which you are getting good placements.

Go for IT in gud college. Because placements will be almost same for cs and IT. And in gud college you will get good faculty and atmosphere too. Soo it is good to go for IT branch in any top college.
