It totally depends upon you. I personally don't prefer taking drop because the pressure is too much which decreases your performance. However, if you are confident that you will surely get something better than what you are getting now, then go for it.

The decision of dropping should be based on reflecting upon the mistakes you made the past two years and how can you work on them the following year. If you feel that you can up your performance to a good extent, go ahead and take a drop.
