should i take drop now or wait for August attempt of jee mains

As per suggestion don't dropped , try once if you get rank you can join any college as per your choice. There are lots of good colleges , may be you scoor good rank , may be you study 12th class well still you have some days work hard for just a good marks only not for top rank .

And If you think you are not prepared for exam then you can dropped. Take good preparation , study heard . Look up your weakness in your subjects, go for mock test, clear all doubt , practice daily, Brought good  books,

Hello dear aspirant

It's always better to finish off all the attempts and then think about dropping as your performance may be better in August mains. However you have a idea of dropping, so why not wait till August, give your best try and then think of dropping or not. By attempting the August mains you will get to know the pattern, the time complexity, difficulty of the questions, etc. These might help you if you are taking a drop later. So it's always better to attempt an examination even though you are not sure of, just to give it a try.
