No! NEET and AIIMS are separate medical entrance exams. NEET qualifies you to take admission in almost all medical colleges in the country apart from AIIMS and JIPMER which still continue to conduct their own exams for admission into their institution.

The answer is no. If you want to try for only the seven AIIMS institution, you can just write the AIIMS exam.

If you want to attain a seat in other medical colleges; both government and private, you need to write NEET in that case.

No. Neet ug and aiims exams are different exams.
Neet ug is the exam for admission to mbbs and bds seats in various medical and dental college of india. However from this year admission to bams,bhms,veterinary will also be done through marks and rank obtained in neet ug.. (separate merit list )..

While aiims mbbs entrance exam is for admission to mbbs course in  7 aiims institutions including aiims delhi..

NEET 2018 and AIIMS are two separate Examinations that are independent of each other i.e. you don't have to crack NEET to be elligible for AIIMS. NEET 2018 is conducted to procure admissions in every Medical or Dental College in India, except AIIMS and JIPMER.

AIIMS and JIPMER have individual Examinations and their Counselings are different from NEET. Prepare well for both these Examinations. All the very Best!
