Hi there!

Two vectors  a and  b are collinear if:

a=kb  where  k  is a non zero scalar constant.

a.b=1 , if it is zero they are perpendicular. By the way, it is the same result if  a and  b are parallel. Parallel vectors are not collinear, careful. Collinear means they co-exist on the same straight line.
