Hi Pooja,
For starting preparing for JEE Mains, you need to first of all clear all your basics for the subjects asked in the entrance examination. The subjects includes Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics mainly. So, start your basics from NCERT books and strengthen them. NCERTs form a foundation and you can read them again and again for clarifying your basics. After that, you can go for reference books suggested for these subjects such as RD Sharma, HC, Verma OP Tandon for the respective subjects.
You need to keep in mind, just revising a topic is not enough. After continuous revision, what you need to do is practice. You need to solve previous years papers and along with it, you can practice sample paper as well. Practice as much as you can.
