Subject-wise strategy for IFS Exam 2017

General studies: General studies cover everything under the sun. But there is nothing to get panic, a glance over the last year's question paper will make things easier.

History: A huge stress is given to modern history and freedom movement. Also, emphasis should be given to Ancient India. A glance over the medieval history would serve the purpose.

Geography: A huge stress is to be given to physical geography and maps related questions. Get yourself well-acquainted with maps with the help of a good Atlas.

General Science: It covers a major chunk, so be well-versed with the topics of general science from a standard guidebook.Current affairs: Going daily through a standard newspaper daily will help the candidate to gain knowledge regarding the various events both nationally and internationally.

General awareness: The candidate can go through the year book which contains many things which will solve the purpose

.Economy: The candidate should have to be thorough with the Indian Economy and follow the business page of any national newspaper.

English and Reasoning: The candidates should focus on English Comprehension, date interpretation, and reasoning. If the candidate is well prepared in these topics then scoring a good mark would then be a cake walk for you.
