I would suggest you to clear your backlog for the further study. After completing your diploma you can apply for B.tech second year programme. There are many universities offer this programme and takes the admission on the basis of their Entrance Exam. You can also get admission in IITs to qualify JEE Advance Entrance Exam after qualifying JEE Main Entrance exam.
