No, you can write the gate exam only if you are in the final year or if you have completed your graduation.

Hello Geraldin,

Academic Criteria to take a GATE exam is

Candidate should have completed their Bachelor's degree in engineering.

there is no minimum pass percentage in the qualifying degree.
