Hello,
As the JEE Mains are held twice a year, a new eligibility criteria has been set in which allows students to give the exam two times a year in three consecutive years from the year of passing their class 12 exam. That makes the total number of attempts for JEE Mains= 2*3=6. If you drop a year AFTER YOUR CLASS 12, then you will be able to attempt 4 times, and advanced 2 times.
But since you are class 10 passout, you are not eligible now.
