It depends on the number of students writing the exam and difficulty of the question paper. For 30–40 marks out of 100, rank you get will be between 12000 and 8000.

You can expect a very good institution if you get 22 to 25 marks in GATE from civil engineering and since you belong to OBC category though it varies from year to year. But I am giving you information based on the previous year trends, so it is best to wait for the final results.
