You had scored a good mark but as you are from general category so it is a bit difficult for you to get a government medical seat especially in 1st round of counselling.

But, i think you will definitely get one in 2nd or 3rd round of the counselling process.

Also, if you belongs to madhya pradesh and have the domicile of m.p.then i will suggest you to apply for private colleges too if you have scored about 75% in your m.p.boards or above 85% in your cbse one. Because according to norms of m.p.govt., there is a huge fee relaxation for such students wether they get seats in government or private insttutions.

And, if you are from any other state then apply first by state qouta and if gets rejected then check out seats in states like: M.P., U.P., Chandigarh, Telangana, C.G., etc.

Also, don't forget to apply in all counselling rounds if didn't get a seat in 1st round ok because i think you get one definitely.

No, you won't be able to get a government seat in 470 marks.. To get a government college when you belong to UR category one must score at least 500+ then only he or she would be able to get the same.. However you can either try for a private medical college or you can try for government bds if you might get.. Hope this helps.. Good luck..
