The medical college seats are allotted in two quotas, the 15% of seats are allotted through the All India Quota and the remaining 85% are the State Quota seats. These 85 % state quota seats are further divided in the two categories in Maharashtra. The 70% regional quota and the 30% state quota. These regional seats are reserved for aspirants belonging to Vidarbha, Marathwada and Rest of Maharashtra (RoM) region.

529 is a borderline marks. So the possibility of getting a college is 50-50 as the cut off changes every year.
