Hello aspirant,
Basically most of the colleges (nits) of b. Arch in the outer state category have a closing rank of about 3k-3.5k. If you have state quota it can rise up to  5k for example for nit Patna home state cut off was 4.7k last year. So it's quite difficult to get nit in your rank.
