Lankalapalli, it seems a little difficult for you to get admission in KL University. . This is based on your rank and previous year cutoffs. They take admission till around 7500-8600 rank.

But again it depends on the number of students who appeared for the exam and as well as the difficulty of the paper.

Following is the eligibility criteria of admission to UG programs of KL University:

• Candidate must have passed 12th standard with a minimum of 60%
• KL University conducts its own entrance exam. It also accepts marks of other states/National level exams.

Since you've qualified JEE Main, you're eligible for admission.

Yes you will able to get admission in KL University and you will also eligible for some nit in lower branches and some new IIITs. I suggest you to go for some government funded institute which conducted their admission through jossa counselling. You will get a descent branch in some colleges.
