BHMS is an undergraduate degree which covera medical knowledge of the homeopathic system. The course durat is 5 and a half years including internship. The course requires completion of 10-2 level of education with minimum 50% marks in aggregates. Admission to this program is based on NEET exam.

According to AYUSH, governmental body in India announced that admission for BHMS , BAMS and BUMS from 2018 will be done on the basis of NEET scores of the candidates. Candidates who tend to get minimum percentile cut off marks are allowed to participate in the counselling and get admission in BHMS course.
