If your rank is lies between 50,000 in jee main January and atleast 70% marks in 12th board then you go for nit's otherwise both the condition will not favor of you then you are not eligible for nit's.

Hello candidate,
You can get a nit college if you are from any reserved category but if you are from unreserved category or we can say that if you are a general category candidate then the chances are very less still you can try it out may be you can get any less popular nit college but it will be difficult if you are from general category. Also you can go through previous year cut offs for more clearance. For checking previous year cut offs go through the website of careers360.

Hello ,

For general category cutoff of JEE examination is 89.7 percentile . As you have scores 78 Percentile in JEE examination which is lessar than cutoff percentile , you not eligible to write JEE advanced withw78 percentage and also you will not get any seats in NIT.

Helllo,

With 78 percentile you have very minimal chance in any NITs.But you can participate in state level councelling or any new IIITs and get a better college.

Alternatively you can also prepare well and improve your percentile in the September jee mains exam and get much better college.
