Wait til end of counselling process. If seats remain vacant then spot round will be conducted. The cutoff falls drastically in spot round and you may get seat in any GFTI if stats remain same as last year. Last year CSAB conducted that spot round. Do participate in it. And don't go for private colleges if you can't afford their fees easily.

With your rank and category being general it's very difficult for you to get admission into any colleges that accept JEE MAIN scores. However,do not get disheartened as it is just an exam, similarly there are colleges other than IIT/NIT that provides decent education and placement offer.
