Definitely try for IISc. They are some of the premier institutes in the country and provide you with a lot of scholarahips. Also once you get in you will probably come out with a PhD. Apart from that any central university will do at the graduate level. After tye graduation you will have several choices in your postgraduation and thats where the real choice would be. If you are in for the long run fcus on where you do your doctorate from.
