With your rank,you should be able to get admission in one of the less preferred NITs like Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur,etc.

JEE Mains is an annual exam that is conducted by the National Testing Agency and the CBSE for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and other institutes. It also serves as the first stage for admission to IITs through JEE Advanced.

EWS is a new category that has been created by the MHRD for economically weaker sections. 10% seats will be reserved for those candidates whose annual family income is less than INR 8 lakh per annum.

Congratulations,your category rank will surely help you.But the rank that you have got is just a little lesser to aim for really good IIITs and GFTIs .
