Congratulations for your completion of Diploma in mechanical, you will get a lateral entry in second year in engineering college for mechanical. Many colleges are there for it.

the one major step you can take is attempting the ECET (Engineering Common Entrance Test) . if you qualify the exam you will be eligible for the lateral entry to any of the engineering college . the course will be of three years so you will get a degree of equivalent to B.Tech . so your future will be bright . All the best for your future .

The only other way is you go work in some industries with your diploma certificate .But I suggest btech will be good after diploma .without b.tech  you will have minimum chances for jobs
