Aspirants for BTech admission after grade 12 should have met the minimal requirements set by all universities. A minimum cumulative score of 60 percent in the 10+2 examinations is required of aspirants. Additionally, students must achieve the requisite cutoff on the entry examinations.

The general requirements for admission to the BTech programme in India are shown below.

Candidates must have earned a passing grade in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the 10+2 exam from an accredited board.
