You don't need to withdraw your application from because The National Testing Agency (NTA) has provided correction window facility for the applicants. During this correction window you can make corrections in your application from if mistakes are done. So you can correct your mistake that you have made in the category section. The provision of changing categories selected by candidates in application form will also be provided to the candidates. If the candidates changed their category from general to reserved, then no refund of fees was done. But if the candidates change their category from reserved to general, then they have to pay the balance fee.  National Testing Agency will provide JEE Main application correction facility from January 19 to 21 for February session exam.

You cannot withdraw your application as you have already paid the application fee but you don't need to worry at all even if you have made a mistake in filling your category as you can correct it using the correction window

NTA provides correction facility so that  students like you can correct the mistakes that they do while filling the application form.

Correction Window for jee main February session will be opened on 19th January  2021 and correction can be made using correction window till 21st january 2021 .

Once the correction window gets opened, you need to visit the official page of JEE Mains i. e jeemain  . nta  . nic  . in  and login using your registration number and password and then you will be able to rectify your mistakes

But yes , while using the correction window you should make sure that all your details are correct because once you use the correction window , you won't get another chance to use the correction window again as it is a single time facility. So, do check all the details twice.
