You have obtained a good score! This means that you have scored better than 90% of the other candidates. But you are behind the toppers by 10%. About 9.65 lakh have registered for the JEE Mains 2019, according to NTA reports, out of which only 8,74,469 had actually qualified for the exam. Since you have the 10th percentile, it means that you can get a rank of less than 90,000 (87447 to be exact), which is nowhere near enough to get into NIT. But you can try to write JEE advanced and if you get a better percentile, then it's good.
