sir, I have shown my caste as obc teluguchetty. but asked income in appln.. I thought that they asked about my father's+mother's total salary income. I showed correct salary per annum i. e. above 8 lakhs.but wl salary come in 'income category'?

Hi,  when they ask about income it is mother's as well as father's combined. You need to show both their income certificates that is salary slips. If your income is more than the base income required for being an OBC then the chances of you getting an scolarhsip are less. It depends on state to state and university to university. Hope this helps.
