Actually, NEET does not have an English paper differently .So, you don't have to study English particularly for NEET preparation, but for board examination, It depends what is your Board, like SSC ICSE or CBSE.You have to appear for the board paper of English.

If you are interested in attempting the entrance examination MP DAHET the eligibility criteria 2020 is that you will be required to have cleared your class 12 board examination in the stream of science from MP Board of Secondary Education or any other recognised board of education in India,  to appear for the exam. Hence you'll have to study for English for the board examinations.

For CG PAT Aspirants who have passed or those who are currently pursuing 12 ^th or equivalent examination from Chhattisgarh board or any recognized board within India.The Aspirants Must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/ Biotechnology as compulsory subjects in 12 ^th class.This is the eligibility criteria for CG PAT.Hence,you anyway have to appear English examination.
