Hello student,

According to previous year cutoff, you do have a chance in some of the government medical colleges in West Bengal with 540 marks. It will completely rely on your luck in the coming results.

The colleges having cutoffs near to your marks in 2018 are:

  • Malda Medical College & Hospital, Malda: 540
  • Murshidabad Medical College & Hospitals, Murshidabad: 539
  • Midnapore Medical College, Midnapore: 540
  • College of Medicine and JNM Hospital, Kalyani, Nadia: 541
  • Bankura Sammilani Medical College, Bankura: 541

As you see, the lowering of cutoffs will help you get a seat in all of these. But for accuracy, you need to wait for the actual cutoffs this year.

Cheers!
