Yes, you can register for state counselling as well if you wish to get admission based on JEE Main score. But you have to get admission in one institute only be it in JoSAA counselling or State counselling. So depending on the seat allotment, if allotted in JoSAA counselling and/or state counselling you may accept the seat if you are willing to get admission. You need to register for state counselling separately. States like Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra etc conduct state level counselling for admission based on JEE Main score.
