Yes there is an eligibility criteria on class 12th board marks and it is as follows along with other eligibility criteria:

• Candidates who have passed their class 12th examination with aggregate 75% marks in PCB/PCM are eligible to apply.
• They must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects in 12thclass for BE or B.Tech admissions.
• Candidate must also secure a minimum of 60% in each of the above subjects.
• BITS Pilani guarantees admission to all the students who have obtained first ranks in their respective board examinations.
• 1st rank students of all the central and state boards in India for the year 2019 will be given direct admission to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT 2019 score as per the eligibility criteria.

For taking admission in BITSAT, you have to qualify BITSAT entrance exam. And  candidates must  have secured  minimum  75%  marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology in their qualifying exam or equivalent. They also need to have minimum 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology subjects in the qualifying exam.
