Biotechnology engineering is the study of bio-organism, micro-oragnism and cell functions in living beings. The branch have huge scope in India and if you do it from reputed colleges like IIT, NITs or IIITs the chances of placement are also high. But jt depends upon whether you have interest in the subject or not, because in the end that's what matters so choose according to your personal interest not under the pressure of any one or don't get influenced by placements, if you're good a something you'll get a job.
