Plastic polymers engineering has vwry less scipe as job opportunities limited to sectors like Retail, Manufacturing Viscose Fiber, Chemical and Pharmacy. Majorly companies like Reliance, JK Helene curtis, Aditua Birla, Welspunare top recruiters.

Mechanical has huge scope across Automobiles, E commerce, Manufacturing, Mining and Metaks scope.
Mechanical engineering offered by all top NITs and IITs.
Great scope into Production, Supervision, Project management, Research and design, Supply chain management, Logistics, Etc like Operations.

Henece Mechanical engineering is better than plastic Polymer engineering.
