In order to take admissions in a BA English Hons course, you need to have passed 12th grade in all the subjects and have a Pass certificate. This way you are eligible for the course, now you need to appear for the entrance exam i.e. CUET UG, a centralised entrance exam on a national level. They don't need you to be from the humanities stream in 12th, any subject works.
