In response to your query if you're giving an entrance exam and missing out on your year end practical exams you would probably be able to give the supplementary exams for the same. However for that purpose you'll have to stay in your current University, if by chance you leave it provided you get a great rank in MAINS exam then it won't be possible as you would not be an enrolled student then.
