The job profile of WBCS is divided into four groups namely Group A, B, C and D, I presume your query is for Group A as it's the most preferred post, the payscale for this is in the range of Rs 15,600 to Rs 42,000 with compensation pay being Rs 5400, and net emoluments come up to Rs 21,000 at the time of joining, there are other incentives as well in the form of house rent allowance, dearness allowance to name a few, all these come only after probation period of two years get over, till then only in-hand salary is applicable.
