As btech is completely based on engineering where as you discontinued this course and went to degree and if u continue btech you may get reimbursement from the government as u discontinued btech course u may not get scholarships any more for the btech course and if you're applied for for scholarships based on your certificates and category and income certificate  you may have chances to get scholarships from the government but chances are very less i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to u.
