For the academic year 2019-20, apart from IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIITDM(Jabalpur); IIT Hyderabad will also take part in the counseling for B.Des programme through UCEED conducted by IIT Bombay. The seats for the academic programme of B.Des in different IITs are as follows-

Hence there are a total of 115 seats for B.Des programme, with a total of 30 seats in IITB, 45 seats in IITG, 10 in IITH and 30 in IIITDM(Jabalpur).

You may also apply to other institutes taking UCEED score into consideration for admission to their design programmes but do not take part in the counseling conducted by IITB.

Nirma University:

With a total of 80 seats with 40seats for B.Des in communication design and 40seats for Industrial design.

CIT, Kokrajhar:

There are 45 seats available only in the first semester. But the number of students to be taken admission for the programme may vary as per the decision of the admission committee of the institute.

Lovely Professional University, Phagwara:

There are a total of 10 seats for B.Des course in Product and Industrial Design.

Delhi Technological University:

A total of 60 seats for UG course in Design from which 85% seats are available for Delhi candidates and 15% seats available for candidates from outside Delhi.

Other institutes considering UCEED score for admission to their B.Des programmes are UPES(Dehradun), VIT University(Vellore), MIT World Peace University(Pune) etc. You can visit their official websites to know more about them.
