Hello,
Yes basic questions will be asked from the class 11th and 12th syllabus from the subject for which you are appearing for the entrance exam.Also, maths questions will be asked.
But you should check your entrance exam syllabus and prepare accordingly because syllabus might vary according to different institutes.
